Well, yes when you was there, New Yorkers were preparing for the time of the autumn and winter, what we see on this stall.
But if you were not live in the U.S., you don't need such things ;-)
You're a happy woman :-)
But and I also don't have and don't need such things. I prefer warm jacket with high fastener (zip fastener) and hood. And it hold me for the winter ;-))
Things like here on this stall are just for fashionistas and dandy for flash around ;-)

Actually I felt cold in the last New Yorker fall
and bought coat, boots and scarf.
It was cheap.
Prices in Brazil are horribly high now.
then...I'm ready and dressed for the season (south) that I like best.
